Veteran anti-apartheid campaigner Lord Peter Hain will join Daniel Zeichner as the party prepares for the upcoming General Election.
Daniel Zeichner said: "It's great to be joined by Lord Hain, a good friend and a Labour Big Beast. Since my election in 2015 we have worked closely especially on Brexit and it will be a pleasure to show him around Cambridge as we campaign for a Labour majority.
Lord Hain will address local activists and lead groups of them door knocking across the city as the Cambridge Labour Party campaigns to re-elect Daniel Zeichner in June.
