The people’s Mayor visited the fire station last night (9-8-14).
Gerri Bird spent three hours with firefighters looking at their kit and talking to them about their work.
Notable amongst the discussions was the comment by firefighters that they cannot afford so called ‘affordable homes’ in Cambridge.
